This dive is purely for pleasure and no experience is necessary. You will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor throughout the whole dive. Besides seeing beautiful and fascinating aquatic creatures first hand, you’ll experience sensations unique to scuba diving, like the thrill of breathing underwater for the first time, and the feeling of floating
After your Scuba Dive you will have some time to snorkel also.
How to get to us?
We recommend that customers make their own way to our dive shop at Main Beach so that they will have time to explore the Marina, shops, and local area after their dive or snorkel.
Our Dive shop is a 5 min Uber ride from Surfers Paradise, the local bus stops at the marina and we have a free car park for customers who are driving.
We can provide return transfers from select Surfers Paradise hotels (call 07 5526 7722 to find locations), please be aware that seats are limited.
If you are coming from Brisbane we have free car parking on site, or we can pick you up from Main Beach G-Link station. (Catch the train from Brisbane to Helensvale station, then catch the G-Link light rail to Main Beach and we will pick you up).
Gold Coast Dive Centre
Boarding our boat ‘Discover’ at the lovely Marina Mirage on our floating Gold Coast Dive Centre we travel approx’ 10 minutes north by boat through the Gold Coast Broadwater to the beautiful Wave Break Island. Leaving the boat we head to the island, where we get comfortable wearing & using our SCUBA equipment in the calm shallow waters before heading off on your PADI introductory scuba dive. After you surface we have snorkel gear aboard & you can take off for a relaxing snorkel or simply lounge about on our boat & enjoy light refreshments. A certificate is awarded to every diver and this experience will expand your mind, giving you an insight into the goings on of the Gold Coasts underwater world. Scuba Diving Location
Discover Gold Coast scuba diving at nearby Wavebreak Island. This dive is purely for pleasure – no experience necessary. You will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor throughout the whole dive.
Besides seeing beautiful & fascinating aquatic creatures first hand, you’ll experience sensations unique to diving, like the thrill of breathing underwater for the first time & the feeling of floating weightless like an astronaut in space. You will swim with many species of fish & can even hand feed them.
This dive will give you an insight into the goings on in the underwater world & will be an experience you will always remember. A certificate is issued to every diver.

Gold Coast Scuba Dive with Qld Scuba Diving Company.
Take a cruise on our custom built catamaran to Wavebreak Island for our 1/2 day Gold Coast Scuba Diving experience.
In terms of fish population for an area, Wavebreak Island has to be one of the most populated in Australia. All Scuba Divers will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor for the duration of the Dive. On completion of your dive you will be awarded with a certificate confirming that you have completed the PADI introductory Scuba dive on the Gold Coast with Queensland Scuba Diving Company.

No Experience Necessary
The PADI introductory Scuba Dive & Snorkel is for beginners and includes all equipment.
Minimum age is 12yrs
After your Scuba Dive you will have some time to snorkel also.
$129.00 per person
Minimum of 24hours notice required for reschedules and 48 hours for cancellations. No refunds for late cancellations or ‘no-shows’.
