PADI Open Water Course
The PADI open water course will provide you with the knowledge and skills you’ll need to safely visit the underwater world.
You’ll have fun as your instructor prepares you for the excitement of entry level diving activities whilst you complete your training at wavebreak island.
The PADI Open Water Course is divided into three segments.
Academic training – Gives you the basic principles and knowledge you need for safe and enjoyable diving.
Confined water training – Will teach you the basic skills of diving.
Open Water training – Allows you to demonstrate your skills and practice them in a typical diving environment.
Prerequisites
10 years of age or older
Completion of a diving medical statement

FOR 10yrs & Above
Certification
Upon successful completion of this course you will be awarded the PADI Open Water Certification card enabling you to dive anywhere throughout the world to depth down to a maximum of 18 metres, hire equipment from dive stores, with the certification valid for life.
Duration
3 days approx, 6 hours per day.
Courses commence every Wednesday and Saturday.
Can do over separate weekends.

All courses commence on board our floating Gold Coast Dive Center.
Minimum of 24hours notice required for reschedules and 48 hours for cancellations. No refunds for late cancellations or ‘no-shows’.
