How to get to us?
We recommend that customers make their own way to our dive centre in Surfers Paradise so they have time
to explore Chevron Island’s shops, cafes and local area after their dive or snorkel.
Our dive centre is approximately a five-minute Uber ride from central Surfers Paradise. Local bus stops are
located on Chevron Island, and parking is available for customers who are driving.
Return transfers are available from select Surfers Paradise hotels. Please call 07 5526 7722 to confirm
pickup locations, as seats are limited.
Customers travelling from Brisbane can take the train to Helensvale station and then the G:link light rail to
Surfers Paradise.
Gold Coast Dive Centre
After checking in at our PADI Five Star Gold Coast Dive Centre on Chevron Island and getting fitted with
your wetsuits and gear, guests then board our boat, Discover. We travel approximately 25 minutes north
through the Gold Coast Broadwater to beautiful Wavebreak Island. After leaving the boat, we enter the calm,
shallow water and become comfortable using the scuba equipment before beginning the PADI introductory
scuba dive. After surfacing, guests may enjoy a relaxing snorkel or simply lounge aboard the boat and enjoy
light refreshments. Each diver receives a certificate, and the experience provides a memorable introduction
to the Gold Coast’s underwater world. Have you always stood on the shore and wondered what is really out
there? Stop wondering!

Scuba Diving Location
Discover Gold Coast scuba diving at nearby Wavebreak Island. This dive is purely for pleasure – no experience necessary. You will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor throughout the whole dive.
Besides seeing beautiful & fascinating aquatic creatures first hand, you’ll experience sensations unique to diving, like the thrill of breathing underwater for the first time & the feeling of floating weightless like an astronaut in space. You will swim with many species of fish & can even hand feed them.
This dive will give you an insight into the goings on in the underwater world & will be an experience you will always remember. A certificate is issued to every diver.

Gold Coast Scuba Dive with Qld Scuba Diving Company.
Take a cruise on our custom built catamaran to Wavebreak Island for our 1/2 day Gold Coast Scuba Diving experience.
In terms of fish population for an area, Wavebreak Island has to be one of the most populated in Australia. All Scuba Divers will be accompanied by a certified PADI instructor for the duration of the Dive. On completion of your dive you will be awarded with a certificate confirming that you have completed the PADI introductory Scuba dive on the Gold Coast with Queensland Scuba Diving Company.

The PADI introductory Scuba Dive & Snorkel is for beginners and includes all equipment.
Minimum age is 12yrs
After your Scuba Dive you will have some time to snorkel also.
$129.00 per person
Minimum of 24hours notice required for reschedules and 48 hours for cancellations. No refunds for late cancellations or ‘no-shows’.
